This is a special report on Autism awareness day celebration at IMA Kunnamkulam.

Today(2.4.15), we conducted a seminar on Autism at Tropical Health Foundation of India(THFI) , Kunnamkulam. The  meeting was presided over by Kunnamkulam IMA president  Dr.Koshy George. T. During his Presidential address, he stressed the importance of early diagnosis and initiation of supportive therapies.The seminar was inaugurated by Mr.Gireesh Kumar , the president of  Press club Kunnamkulam. He congratulated IMA on the organisation of the seminar and he said that activities of IMA in the field of health education in Kunnamkulam is being appreciated by the public. The chairman of THFI Dr.K.Jacob Roy spoke on the occasion. Speech therapist Ms.Arya Kesavan, Physiotherapist Ms.Neelam Dave took classes to the parents of autism affected children .Vote of thanks was proposed by IMA Secretary Dr.Saju.P.K.
