October 6th:
New team of office bearers under the leadership of Dr.Ravunnikutty was installed in the general body meeting held on 6th October. Dr. Devadas past president IMA ksb was the installing officer. Newly elected president announced the list of his team.
October 13th
I st executive meeting was held at IMA House. Committee selected ex offitia and nominated members.There was a discussion about state conference and its conveyance for members. Planned activities of October were discussed.

Report Of Mental Health Day Observation On 16th October 2015 . IMA KUNNAMKULAM in Association with NSS Unit MD college Pazhanji observed the day with a talk on stress management by Mrs. Merin Moncy Psychologist.She has given an informative lecture on stress management.There was an interactive session with the students.The program was inaugurated by IMA President Dr Ravunnikutty.Ima secretary Dr.Shaji.P.S. and Women’s Wing President Dr.Geetha Devi were present on the occasion.

Report of blood donation day observation.(18/10/2015).
Conducted a blood grouping camp at kattakampal in association with sangeetha club.President DrRavunnikutty inaugurated the function.
Secretary Dr SHAJI.P.S took class about blood donation .Dr Geetha Devi given health education class about hypertension.
Blood pressure checking was also done on the same occasion. Blood grouping and Rh typing done and a directory of blood donors formed.

Anti Quackery Day Observation
Conducted an awareness class about quackery in medical practice to common public at Ima house KUNNAMKULAM.
Dr Ravunnikutty president Ima inaugarated the function.Dr SHAJI P.S.took class for the people. Dr Geetha Devi addressed the gathering to educate them about various Quackery practices in the community. Dr Joshy Thomas was present during the occasion.
Monthly medical camp at Ima House
Conducted monthly medical camp by charity wing chairman Dr Joshy Thomas.Dr Tomy and Dr.SHAJI P S participated. 50 patients attended.
World Elders Day Observed on 25 October.
Conducted health check up for inmates of Dheenabandu old age home Akkikavu.Medicines were prescribed.Ima President Dr Ravunnikutty,Secretary Dr SHAJI PS and Dr Geetha Devi participated in the function.Blankets were distributed to each inmate during the function.

Ist general body meeting and CME at Ima house.Dr Fiju Chacko prof of Neurology Jubilee Medical College was the guest speaker.He had given an excellent talk on approach and management of dizziness.A brief informative session on Stoke was done by the speaker in connection with upcoming world stroke day.
Annual report of Ima 2014/2015 prepared by immediate past secretary Dr Saju P K was released by handing over a copy of it to The president Dr Ravunnikutty by immediate past president Dr Koshy George.Installation of WIMA was done on the same day.

A nurse s training program was conducted at Santhi Nursing Home punnayurkulam.Eminent neonatologist from chennai Dr Anand took claas about prevention of neonatal sepsis.Dr Rajesh Krishnan AMS chairman took class about asceptic precaution in hospital.

A program was conducted by KUNNAMKULAM IMA and home department kerala for police officers Dt Hospital Thrissur.
The program is being conducted by kerala home department for police officers named SMILE(Seamless Medical Intervention for Lifesaving Emergencies) and SHAPE(Systematic Health Assessment of Police Personnel).
To improve the fitness of kerala police and to make them more professional in handling casualties.
The first batch of 40 police officers attended on 29.10.2015 at GH Thrissur. Program Started at 7am on with health checkup and blood sugar, total cholesterol and BMI determination to the participant police officers.
A formal inaugural session was conducted at 10am. Sri.Thomson Jose IPS SP Police Academy Thrissur Inaugurated the program. Dr.Alosius P J Supdt. GH, TSR is the chief coordinator, Sri. Viswambharan DYSP, Police academy welcomed the gathering , Dr.Santhosh Babu delivered felicitation, In the presence of Dr. Snehaja Dy SUPDT. GH Thrissur, Shri. Anil Kumar M SI. Sri Manoj Kumar CI Police Academy, extented the vote of thanks.
Following inaugural function, Hands on training session on Basic Life Support BLS (Cardio Pulmonary Resucitation) was conducted By Dr. Ajith T and a session on Proper method of transporting of the injured was conducted by Dr. Santhosh Babu.
The program was a grant success.

REPORT OF ACTIVITIES OF IMA KUNNAMKULAM FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER 2015
On September 1st : Executive Commitee meeting. Discussed the matters regarding reception to National and State office bearers of IMA and the Onam program of Neelambari, the State Cultural Wing to be conducted in association with DTF Trichur.
On September 1st : Air conditioner of Executive room and adjacent foyer was officially switched on by Dr.Koshy George T., the president of IMA Kunnamkulam, in the presence of AC committee and executive members of IMA Kunnamkulam.
On September 3rd : Eye Donation Fortnight programs of IMA Kunnamkulam.
The programs were conducted in two separate phases.
Ist Phase – Health Education Program at MD College, Pazhanji:
In the first phase, we conducted a Health Education Program at Mar Dionysius College, Pazhanji on 3rd Sept 2015.The meeting started with a welcome address by Mr. Thomas Mathew, the program officer of NSS at M.D. College. The meeting was inaugurated by Dr. Koshy George.T, the president of IMA Kunnamkulam. In his Inaugural address he thanked M.D. College NSS unit for their whole hearted support for the program. He requested the students to motivate their family and friends for organ donation.
After the short Inaugural Function, the following programs were conducted:
(a) A Health Education Class on Eye Donation was taken by Dr. C.P. Ravunnikutty, Ophthalmologist and President Elect of IMA Kunnamkulam. He detailed about eye donation in a simple language. After the class, he answered some queries raised by the students.
(b)The Distribution of Eye Donation Consent Forms to the college
Following the class Dr. Koshy George T handed over the eye donation consent forms to Mr. Thomas Mathew, to be distributed among the students with the promise that the filled up forms would be collected by IMA Kunnamkulam as soon as all are submitted.
On September 5th :State Level Onam Celebrations of Neelambari hosted by IMA Kunnamkulam and Thrissur DTF and Reception to the National President of IMA Padmasree Dr. A.Marthanda Pillai and National and State Office Bearers of IMA was conducted by IMA Kunnamkulam and Reception was accorded to Nammude Arogyam float at Kunnamkulam.
The evening program started off at 4.30 pm with the Pookkalam competition in which teams from 7 hospitals of Kunnamkulam took part. The colourful floral arrangements added to the festive atmosphere of the function.
The inaugural meeting started with a prayer song by Dr. Smitha.K.S., at 7.50 P.M. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Koshy George T, the president of IMA Kunnamkulam. The president welcomed the National president of IMA Padmasri. Dr. A. Marthanda Pillai, Immediate past president of IMA KSB Dr. A.V. Babu, Midzone vice president Dr. Abraham Varghese, Past National president Dr. V.C. Velayudhan Pillai, Past presidents of IMA KSB Dr. R.V. Asokan, Dr. P.K. Mohammed Rasheed,, Dr. Alex Franklin, Dr. G. Vijayakumar and Dr. K.V. Devadas , as well as Midzone joint secretary. Dr. Gopikumar, DTF Chairman Dr. Jain Chimmen, Neelambari Chairman Dr. Jose Ukken,, members of DTF Trichur and their families and members of IMA Kunnamkulam and their families. In his presidential address Dr. Koshy George said that IMA Kunnamkulam was honoured by the presence of the national president and other national and state leaders of IMA.
Dr. Jain Chimmen addressed the gathering and thanked IMA Kunnamkulam for hosting the state level onam celebration of Neelambari, in association with DTF Trichur.
The formal inauguration of the onam program of Neelambari, the State Cultural Wing of IMA KSB was done by the National president Dr. A. Marthanda Pillai by lighting the Nilavilakku. In his inaugural address, he congratulated IMA Kunnamkulam for conducting various activities put forward by National and State IMA. He also said that doctors cannot work 24 hours a day and he has requested the government to make 3 tier duty system to the doctors working at various health centers. He wished all a happy and prosperous onam season.
Dr. A.V. Babu, Immediate Past President of IMA Kerala State delivered the onam message. He thanked IMA Kunnamkulam for conducting such a program and wished everyone a healthy, joyful and prosperous onam season.
The Neelambari (the Cultural wing of IMA KSB) programs started off with an introduction to KALAKARANORU KAITHANGU (a helping hand to the artist) by the chairman of Neelambari, Dr. Jose Ukken. In his address, he thanked IMA Kunnamkulam for taking such an initiative. He said that if every branch of IMA KSB would follow the Kunnamkulam Model, we can support 107 senior artists in Kerala and that will show the social commitment of IMA.
Chenda artist Mr. Kadavallur Mohanan Marar was introduced to the gathering. He was a renowned Chenda Artist in Thrissur district till he had been diagnosed to have cirrhosis of liver and he underwent liver transplantation from Amritha Institute of medical sciences, Kochi 5 years ago.
For two years he was off the field, following the surgery. Now he is back to the field for the last 3 years teaching Chenda to students at home.
The honouring of Chenda artist Mr. Mohanan Marar was done by Dr. Abraham Varghese, Mid Zone Vice President of IMA KSB, by adorning him with a ponnada.
Then a cash award of Rs. 10,000 was handed over to the artist by Dr. Koshy George T., President of IMA Kunnamkulam. Then Mr. Mohanan Marar performed a short live demonstration of Chenda Melam..
Then Pookkalam competition prizes were distributed by Dr. K.V. Devadas, the past president of IMA KSB. There were 7 teams for pookkalam competition. 3 trophies were given away and consolation prizes were given to all the participants.
Felicitation was offered by Dr. V.C. Velayudhan Pillai, the past national president of IMA on behalf of all IMA leaders present. .
Mementos were given to all the national and state leaders who attended the meeting, by Dr. Koshy George.T., President of IMA Kunnamkulam.
The meeting was adjourned for variety entertainments conducted by the Cultural Wing and WIMA of Kunnamkulam. There were dances by tiny tots and ‘Thiruvathira Kali’ by WIMA and onam songs by IMA members and their families.
A short drama “Kalikaalan” was also staged by the members of IMA Kunnamkulam.
The program was followed by variety ‘Onam Sadhya’ which was very much appreciated by all the leaders and members alike.
On September 5th : Reception to Nammude Arogyam Float at Kunnamkulam
A warm reception was accorded to the float of Nammude Arogyam which reached Kunnamkulam during the function as part of the all Kerala tour to popularize the IMA Health publication. The National and State leaders joined the members of IMA Kunnamkulam to receive the float at Kunnamkulam.
On September 8th : 4 Members from IMA Kunnamkulam attended the SWC meeting held at Palakkad.
On September 8th : IInd Phase of Eye Donation Fortnight – Health Education Program at MOSCMM Hospital, Aduppootty:
On 8th sept. 2015, we conducted a program at Malankara mission Hospital, Kunnamkulam. The programme started with Dr. Ajith.T, the chairman of ACT FORCE of IMA Kunnamkulam welcoming the gathering of people from Adupputty, patients and their relatives at Malankara hospital, Nursing students and staff of Malankara Hospital. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Koshy George.T, the president of IMA Kunnamkulam. Dr. Koshy George in his presidential address thanked Malankara hospital for their cooperation with IMA Kunnamkulam for conducting various health educational and awareness classes for the public. Following the short inaugural function, the following programs were conducted:
- An awareness class on Eye donation was taken by senior ophthalmologist and Past President of IMA Kunnamkulam Dr. O.J. John. He said that the main purpose of those classes were making the people aware of the need for eye donation. He explained details regarding eye donation and corneal transplant in a simple and lucid manner.
(b)The Release of a leaflet on Eye donation by Dr. Mohan Thomas ,the Medical Superintendent of MOSCMM hospital and Chairman, Organ Donation Committee of IMA Kunnamkulam. The leaflet was in Malayalam and was prepared for WIMA Kunnamkulam by Dr. Rema Mukesh, Ophthalmologist at Malankara hospital.
(c)The Distribution of eye donation consent forms to all those who attended the class.
On September 16th : The First Aid Class and Training Workshop on Advanced Life Support ( ALS ) was conducted by ACT FORCE of IMA Kunnamkulam at Ansar Hospital, Perumpilav.
On 16th September 2015,a First Aid Class and ALS Workshop was conducted at Ansar Hospital Perumpilav,organised by the Life Support and Training Committee (Act Force) of IMA Kunnamkulam .
The program started with a welcome address by the IMA Secretary Dr.Saju.P.K. He welcomed the gathering of Nursing students and staff of Ansar Hospital.
The program was formally inaugurated by Dr Koshy George T., the President of IMA Kunnamkulam. In his inaugural address he mentioned that these classes were a continuation of first aid classes of IMA Kunnamkulam ACT FORCE, previous classes having been taken for ACTS volunteers at Kecheri, members of SAPARYA library at Punnayurkulam, residents of Aduppootty Colony and staff of Malankara Mission Hospital,Kunnamkulam and for staff and students of St.Joseph Hospital , Choondal.
The inaugural session was followed by two programs:
1.First aid class
A FIRST AID CLASS was taken by Dr Koshy George T, who demonstrated various techniques of giving first aid in case of accidents at home, school, workplaces etc., in a simple manner using commonly available materials like newspaper, cardboard boxes, and cotton clothes.
- ALS Training Workshop by ACT FORCE
A practical workshop on Advanced Life Support was taken by Dr Ajith. T, Anaesthesiologist of Malankara Mission Hospital, Aduppootty, Kunnamkulam . Newer methods in ALS and Cardio Pulmonary resuscitation in an ICU setting were demonstrated with the help of a mannequin we obtained from DTF Trichur for the programme. The training was very much appreciated by all the nursing staff of the hospital.
On September 16th :5 members of IMA Kunnamkulam attended DTF meeting at Trichur.
On 18th September : We conducted “SEPTEMBER-REMEMBER ME” program of Alzheimer’s month.
We conducted the program in 2 phases:
Phase I: A seminar on Alzheimer’s disease.
This program was conducted on 18th September, 2015 at Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu, in association with ARDSI (Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders Society of India) and NSS unit of Ansar Women’s College.
The program started with a welcome speech by Ms. Shameema K, the NSS programe officer, Ansar Women’s College. The meeting was presided over by Dr. P.K. Yaqoob, the principal of Ansar Women’s College. He thanked IMA Kunnamkulam and ARDSI officials for organizing such an important seminar at Ansar Women’s College, for making the pupils aware of existence of such diseases in the society.
The president of IMA Kunnamkulam, Dr. Koshy George. T. inaugurated the seminar. In his inaugural address, he mentioned the importance of making the timely and correct diagnosis of the condition. Then Major Gopalakrishnan, the national coordinator of ARDSI delivered the keynote address. After a short inaugural function, we conducted the following programs.
- Pledge taking:
Dr. Koshy George requested the students to take a pledge about the due care to be given to the Alzheimer’s patients in their families or in society. The students repeated the pledge recited by Dr. Koshy George.
- Release of leaflet on Alzheimer’s disease.
A leaflet in Malayalam, prepared by IMA Kunnamkulam was released by Dr. Koshy George T., President of IMA Kunnamkulam by handing it over to Dr. P.K. Yaqoob, the principal of Ansar Women’s College, to be distributed among the students.
- Awareness class:
A Health Education class on Alzheimer’s disease was taken by Mr. Aju Alocious, the DRCC project officer, Kottappadi. He detailed about the illness ,through different stories from his experience and it was very much appreciated by the students.
A group song by the students added colour to the program.
On September 22nd : We conducted our monthly CME . The speaker was Dr.Jijith Krishnan,Rheumatologist ,GMC Trichur.. He spoke on “Polyarthritis – How to go about and care”.
On September 22nd : IMA AMS X ray quiz was presented by Dr.Tomy.C.P. It was a case of Pleural Lipoma.
On September 22nd : After the CME, we had a Session on Insurance Policies for Doctors. Mr P Murali Chief manager Kunnamkulam , Mr Suresh Kumar branch manager LIC Chavakkadu , Mr Vijay Govind assistant branch manager LIC Kunnamkulam , Mr.T I Johnson and Mr Jose , Chief advisors of LIC Kunnamkulam and the speaker of the day Mr Rajendra Kumar were present in the meeting . Mr Rajendra Kumar spoke on insurance policies for doctors .
On September 22nd : Health Check up Program for members of IMA Kunnamkulam (Phase 2) – Bone Mineral Density Screening Program
On 22nd September, the second phase of the Health Check up activities for our own members was conducted at IMA house Kannipayyur on the day of our monthly CME in September. BMD estimation was done for all the members who were present for the CME . The program was inaugurated by Dr Koshy George T., the president of IMA Kunnamkulam . He thanked members for their whole hearted support throughout his tenure as the president of IMA Kunnamkulam. Printout of the results of BMD estimation was handed over to the members. The Program was very much appreciated by all the members.
On September 23rd :Phase II Program of Alzheimer’s month:
On 23rd September, 2015 we visited the day care centre “Smruthipatham” of KSID (Kerala State Initiative on Dementia) at Kottappadi. The nursing staff of the centre Sr. Sherly, welcomed the IMA team.
Dr. Koshy George T, the president of IMA Kunnamkulam explained the purpose of the visit. Dr. T.R. Louis, the past president of IMA Kunnamkulam and Chairman of Elderly Care Committee of IMA Kunnamkulam, appreciated the sincere service of the day care centre workers, for the needy ones. Then there was a medical check up for the inmates in which Dr. T.R. Louis and Dr. Baiju Ahsraf, Physician Ansar Hospital, Perumpilav examined the 17 inmates and necessary medicines were prescribed.
On September 25th : A First Aid Class and Training Workshop on Basic Life Support ( BLS ) , and Release of Road Safety Leaflets was conducted by ACT FORCE of IMA Kunnamkulam at Kunnamkulam Police Station and Distribution of Road Safety Leaflets conducted at the auto stands of Kunnamkulam .
On 25th September, 2015 a First Aid Class and BLS Workshop was conducted at Kunnamkulam Police Station for the Police officials of Kunnamkulam and Erumapetty Police Stations, organised by the Life Support and Training Committee (Act Force) of IMA Kunnamkulam.
The program started with a welcome address by the Kunnamkulam Circle Inspector of Police Mr.V.A.Krishnadas. He thanked IMA Kunnamkulam for taking the initiative for training the police officials in the Kunnamkulam Circle.
The meeting was presided over by Dr.Koshy George T., the President of IMA Kunnamkulam. In his presidential address he mentioned that these classes were a continuation of first aid classes of IMA ACT FORCE, previous classes having been taken for ACTS volunteers at Kecheri and members of SAPARYA library at Punnayurkulam ,at Malankara Mission Hospital, Aduppootty, Kunnamkulam , at St.Joseph Hospital, Choondal, and at Ansar Hospital, Perumpilavu.

On September 25th : IMA KUNNAMKULAM PROGRAMME ON ROAD SAFETY
- Release of 2 leaflets – “Road Rules for Drivers” and “Road Rules for Pedestrians”.
Release of the leaflets on Road Safety, both in Malayalam, prepared by IMA Kunnamkulam Act Force was done by Dr.K.V.Devadas, Past President of IMA KSB by handing over its copies to C.I. Mr. Krishnadas.V.A and Kunnamkulam S.I. Mr. Farshad .T.P. Copies of the leaflets were distributed to all the police officials.
- Distribution of leaflets to the Autorikshaw drivers.
After the BLS Workshop, the copies of the leaflets on road rules were distributed to autoriksha drivers at various taxi stands at Kunnamkulam by a team led by Dr. Koshy George T., president of IMA Kunnamkulam.
On September 27th : The Community Development Program of IMA Kunnamkulam at Mary Matha Boys’ Cottage ,Akkikkavu.
On 27th September 2015 : We conducted a Community Development program organised by the Community Development Committee and the Charity Wing of IMA Kunnamkulam at Mary Matha Boys’ Cottage, Akkikkavu. The program stated with a welcome speech by Dr.Saju.P.K, the Secretary of IMA Kunnamkulam. The meeting was presided over by Dr.Koshy George.T ,the president of IMA Kunnamkulam. Dr.Koshy George mentioned that IMA Kunnamkulam is very happy to conduct such programs that are aimed at directly or indirectly improving the health and quality of life of the people living in the villages. Dr.Koshy George also mentioned that this will be the last program of this year’s office bearers and we will be requesting the next year’s office bearers to continue such development programs in the Boys’ cottage during the next year also. Following the short inaugural function we conducted two programs.
- Health Education Class
A health education class on water borne diseases and methods of its prevention was taken by Dr.Koshy George. He discussed about water borne diseases and explained various methods of water purification in a simple language .He demonstrated the filtration method of water purification using water and sand.
- Donation of water purifier.
As a part of providing safe drinking water to the inmates of the cottage IMA Kunnamkulam donated a UV Ray water purifier to the cottage. The charity wing Chairman Dr.Mohamed Nissar handed over the water purifier to Mr.Saji, the manager of the Boys’ cottage.
On September 28th :
The district level program “ The Family Heart Care Program – phase 2 “ of Thrissur DTF was conducted at IMA House Kunnamkulam at a combined meeting organised by IMA Kunnamkulam in association with DTF, Thrissur. The meeting was inaugurated by DTF chairman Dr.Jain Chimmen . In his address he thanked IMA Kunnamkulam for taking up the heart care program Phase 1 and Phase 2 ,of Trichur DTF and conveyed best wishes for the program.
The meeting was presided over by Dr.Koshy George .T, President of IMA Kunnamkulam and the scientific session was chaired by senior physician Dr .N D .Varghese. Dr.Manoj Ravi, the interventional Cardiologist of Jubilee Mission Medical College took a class on “Preventive Cardiology –What should we do” in a simple and lucid manner, so as to explain the basics of prevention of heart diseases to the spouses of IMA members. It was a well attended meeting. 40 members attended with spouses and there was an active interactive session following the CME.
Dr.Santhosh Babu ,the DTF Convenor explained the importance of the program and thanked IMA Kunnamkulam for conducting 2 phases of family Heart Care Program at IMA Kunnamkulam.
On September 28th : A TOT session on Advanced Life Support was conducted at IMA House Kanippayyur for members of IMA Kunnamkulam and Thrissur DTF during the General Body meeting held in connection with the Family Heart Care Program – Phase II of Thrissur DTF. The president Dr. Koshy George T. introduced the session and he said that the session was being conducted so that members can continue the Jeeva Raksha program of IMA Kunnamkulam in future also. The session was taken by Dr. Ajith T., Anaesthetist, MOSCMM Hospital, Aduppootty, Kunnamkulam.

Report on reception to State Office bearers of IMA Kerala State Branch, held on 26th July at IMA House, Kanippayyur, Kunnamkulam.
On 26th July 2015, IMA Kunnamkulam gave a warm reception to the leaders of IMA Kerala State at a function held at IMA House, Kanippayyur.
The meeting was called to order by Dr. Koshy George T, the president of IMA Kunnamkulam after collaring of the State President Dr. Sreejith N Kumar by the State Secretary Dr.A.V.Jayakrishnan and of the branch President Dr.Koshy George by the branch Secretary Dr.Saju. P.K at 5.30 PM.
The program started with a prayer song by Dr.Geetha Devi. Flag salutation was done by the secretary Dr.Saju. P.K. Dr.Koshy George T., President of IMA Kunnamkulam welcomed the gathering of State leaders, IMA members and their families. The State leaders include the state president Dr.Sreejith N Kumar, the state secretary Dr.A.V. Jayakrishnan, senior Vice-president Dr.Uma Mohandas, Mid Zone Vice-president Dr.Abraham Varghese, Mid Zone Joint secretary Dr.Gopakumar P, South Zone Joint secretary Dr.Madanamohanan Nair, Past National President Dr.V.C.Velayudhan Pillai, Past Presidents of IMA KSB Dr.V.U.Seethi, Dr.K.Jayaram, Dr.M.Bhaskaran, Dr.P.K.Mohammed Rasheed, Dr.Alex Franklin, Dr. Srikumar Vasudevan and Dr.K.V.Devadas, CGP Kerala Director of Studies Dr.K.G.Pai, AMS Kerala Chairman Dr.K.P.Balakrishnan, Kerala PPS Secretary Dr.Samuel Koshy and Kerala Ethics Committee Convenor Dr. M.N.Menon. North Zone Vice president Dr. Pradeep Kumar V.G and Kerala SS Scheme secretary Dr. K.V. Prabhakaran were present during the day’s program.
In his presidential address, Dr.Koshy George mentioned that IMA Kunnamkulam was very happy to welcome all the state leaders to Kunnamkulam IMA and we were honoured by the presence of all those great personalities of IMA Kerala State. He specifically mentioned the contribution of each of the leaders towards the growth of the Kunnamkulam branch.
The branch secretary Dr.Saju. P .K handed over a copy of a booklet on ‘Calendar of activities of IMA Kunnamkulam 2014-15 upto 26th July’ to the State President Dr. Sreejith N Kumar. Then the calendar was distributed to all the IMA leaders and IMA members.
The State President Dr.Sreejith N Kumar addressed the gathering. He congratulated IMA Kunnamkulam for taking up all the activities put forward by the State IMA, with due importance to the theme ‘for the profession and for the people’. He also specially mentioned the initiative of IMA Kunnamkulam towards PCF.
Then the state secretary Dr.A V Jayakrishnan addressed the audience. In his speech he said that IMA Kunnamkulam was a role model for all the branches of IMA KSB.
Felicitation were offered by Dr. Uma Mohandas, Dr.Abraham Varghese, Dr.K V Devadas, Dr.P Gopikumar, Dr.Madanamohanan Nair, Dr.V C Velayudhan Pillai, Dr. V U Seethi, Dr.K Jayaram and Dr. M Bhaskaran.
Mementos were handed over to all the State leaders who attended the reception meeting by Dr.Koshy George.

GPCON 2015- A SPECIAL REPORT
Special Report on GP CON 2015, the Annual State Conference of IMA CGP Kerala State which was hosted by IMA Kunnamkulam Branch on Sunday, 26th of July, 2015 at IMA House, Kanippayyur.
The IMA CGP Kerala State Conference, GP Con 2015 was hosted by IMA Kunnamkulam branch at IMA House, Kanippayur on 26th July 2015. After registration and breakfast, the conference started at 8.30 A.M sharp, with the hoisting of the IMA flag by Dr. KoshyGeorge.T, the president of IMA Kunnamkulam.
The CME sessions started off with the first talk on Maternal Mortality Prevention by Dr.Vasudeva Panicker, Consultant Anaesthesiologist & Gynaecologist at Panicker’s hospital, Kodungallur and National Coordinator of the Maternal Mortality Prevention Cell of IMA. The session was chaired by Dr. R Padmasini, chair person of WIMA Kunnamkulam and Consultant Gynaecologist of Ansar Hospital, Perumpilavu.
The second session was on Exanthematous Fevers by Prof. T.P.Antony, Professor and Head of the Department of Medicine, Amala Medical College, Thrissur. This session was chaired by Dr. Cherian Joseph, Founder president of IMA Kunnamkulam and Consultant Paediatrician of Royal Hospital, Kunnamkulam.
This was followed by a tea break. After the tea break, the inauguration programme started at 10.10A.M. The inaugural session started with a prayer song by Dr. Smitha.K.S, Treasurer of WIMA, Kunnamkulam, which was followed by Flag salutation by the branch secretary Dr. Saju.P.K.
IMA Kunnamkulam branch President Dr. Koshy George.T. welcomed the dignitaries on and off the dais (including the State President, State Secretary, the Director of Studies and Secretary of IMA CGP Kerala, 3 Vice Presidents and 2 Joint Secretaries of IMA KSB, 1 Past National President and 7 Past presidents of IMA KSB), the faculties, the delegates, the representatives of sponsors and the Press & TV media to IMA House, Kunnamkulam on the occasion of GP con 2015.
The presidential address was delivered by Dr.K.G.Pai, the Director of Studies of CGP, IMA KSB. In his presidential address he stressed the need for family physicians for the primary care of the people and requested all the delegates to join CGP and acquire FCGP qualification since it was going to be the need of the nation in the future.
The state president Dr.Sreejith N Kumar inaugurated the conference by lighting the Nilavilakku. In his Inaugural Address, he congratulated IMA Kunnamkulam for taking up the CGP State conference in a big way and conveyed all his best wishes for the conference. He stated that the role of the family physician is vital for the health of the community to ensure organ survival and prevent organ failure.
The State President Dr. Sreejith N. Kumar then performed the State launch of the Beta version of the IMA Patient Care Fund Website and declared that the State Secretary would be explaining the features of the website immediately after the inaugural session. He congratulated IMA Kunnamkulam for being a Golden Care Donor and WIMA Kunnamkulam for being a Silver Care Donor of PCF.
The state secretary Dr. AV.Jayakrishnan addressed the gathering and he also congratulated IMA Kunnamkulam for taking up both IMA AMS Midzone conference and CGP state conference.
The inauguration programme was closed at 11 A.M following vote of thanks by the organizing secretary Dr. Taj Paul Panakkal.
The launching of beta version of IMA PCF Website was demonstrated by the state secretary Dr.A.V.Jayakrishnan after the inaugural function..
The CME programmes continued with a talk on Hypopigmented Patches by Dr.Ajithkumar, Additional Professor, Govt. Medical College, Thrissur and Dean Research, KUHS. This session was chaired by Dr. Shaji.P.S, Consultant physician of Shanthi Hospital, Punnayurkulam.
Next topic was ABC of Chest X-ray presented by Prof.T.Kesavan, Consultant Radiologist, Baby Memorial Hospital, Kozhikode and former HOD, Department of Radio diagnosis, Govt. Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. The session was chaired by Dr. C.P. Tomy, Consultant Physician of Ansar Hospital Perumpilavu.
The last topic before lunch was on Approach to Low Back Pain in General Practice by Dr.Jyothish.K, Asst.Professor of Orthopedics, GMC Thrissur. This session was chaired by Dr. Koshy George T, Consultant Orthopedician, Koshys’ Clinic, Kunnamkulam & President of IMA Kunnamkulam.
The lunch break was from 1.P.M to 1.50P.M. The post lunch session started with a talk on “Coronory Stents – How to choose one” by Dr.Bino Benjamin, Asst Professor of Cardiology, JMMC, Thrissur. This session was chaired by Dr. Rajesh Krishnan, Consultant Physician, Santhi Hospital, Punnayurkulam.
Each session was followed by active interaction with the audience. Mementoes were given to each speaker by the concerned chairperson.
Thereafter, there were two workshops. The first was a workshop on Medico-legal issues in Medical Practice in which, the lecture session was taken by Dr.Samuel Koshy, Consultant paediatrician, Moulana Hospital, Perinthalmanna and Hon. Secretary of PPS IMA KSB. This was followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr.Samual Koshy. Panelists were Dr. A.V.Jayakrishnan, State Secretary and past Hon. Secretary of PPS, Dr. Sreekumar Vasudevan, past president of IMA KSB and past chairman of PPS and Dr. Alex Franklin, Hon. Secretary National PPS.
The second was a workshop on Ethical issues in Medical Practice. The lecture session was by Dr. Sreekumar Vasudevan, chairman, ethics committee of IMA KSB. This was followed by a panel discussion in which Dr. Sreekumar Vasudevan was moderator, and the panelists were the State President Dr.SreejithN.Kumar, Dr.Abraham Varghese, Mid Zone Vice president and past chairman of Ethics committee IMA KSB and Dr. M.N.Menon, Convener of Ethics Committee of IMA KSB.
Mementos were given to the speakers and panellists after each workshop by Dr.Koshy George.T., president of IMA Kunnamkulam.
Following the workshops the post lunch session concluded at 4.45PM, with vote of thanks by Dr.Geethadevi, Chairperson of CGP, IMA Kunnamkulam branch and Organising Chairperson of GP CON 2015.
The emceeing of the programme was done by Dr. Rajesh P. And Dr. Harikrishnan K.B.
There were X-ray, ECG & Photo quizzes in which delegates participated actively and prizes were given to the winners. A lucky dip was also conducted and prize was given.
Delicious breakfast, midmorning tea, lunch and evening tea and snacks were very much appreciated by all the delegates and leaders alike.
The programme was covered by Press & TV media persons and the same was reported in the news papers the very next day.
458 delegates were registered for the conference and 260 delegates attended the conference.

2nd June : Executive Committee cum GPCon 2015 Organising Committee meeting was conducted at IMA House, Kanippayyur.
5th June : The World Environment Day was observed by IMA Kunnamkulam on 05.06. 2015 at Kunnamkulam.
- TREE PLANTING AT IMA HOUSE, KANIPPAYYUR BY HARITHA COMMITTEE OF WIMA
The Day’s programmes started at 8 am. with a tree planting ceremony at IMA House, Kanippayyur as part of the Haritha Project organized by WIMA Kunnamkulam. The function was inaugurated by Dr. R. Padmasini, Chairperson of WIMA Kunnamkulam. Dr. Rini Ravindran, Convenor of WIMA Kunnamkulam, Dr. Smitha K.S, Treasurer of WIMA Kunnamkulam, Dr. P. Sundaresh Kumar, IPP and Dr. Paul C. Raphael, Senior vice president led the tree planting team.
- b) DECORATIVE PALM PLANTING AT IMA HOUSE, KANIPPAYYUR ORGANISED BY IMA KUNNAMKULAM
At 10 am. planting of decorative palms was organized at IMA House, Kanippayyur by IMA Kunnamkulam. The function was inaugurated by Dr. Koshy George T., President of IMA Kunnamkulam. Dr. P.K. Saju, Secretary of IMA Kunnamkulam, Dr. P.A. Mohamed Nisar, Coordinator of World Environment Day Programmes and Dr. Shameer C. Sulaiman, Treasurer of IMA Kunnamkulam spoke on the occasion.
- c) VECTOR CONTROL PROGRAMME AT MARY MATHA BOYS’ COTTAGE, AKKIKKAVU
At 7 pm. a function was organized at Mary Matha Boys’ Cottage, Akkikavu as part of the vector control programme by IMA Kunnamkulam and the Charity Wing of IMA Kunnamkulam. The function was inaugurated by Dr. Koshy George T., President of IMA Kunnamkulam. Dr. P.K. Saju, Secretary of IMA Kunnamkulam welcomed the audience.
After the official inauguration, a HEALTH EDUCATION CLASS was taken by Dr. Koshy George on the importance of vector control.
Dr. P.A. Mohamed Nisar, Chairman, Charity Wing of IMA Kunnamkulam conducted the DISTRIBUTION OF MOSQUITO COILS to the inmates as a part of the VECTOR CONTROL PROGRAMME of IMA Kunnamkulam. Mr. Saji, Director of Mary Matha Boys’ Cottage Trust proposed the vote of thanks.
- d) VECTOR CONTROL PROGRAMME AT THIPPILISSERY VILLAGE (ADOPTED VILLAGE FOR AROGYAMYTHRI PROJECT OF IMA KUNNAMKULAM)
At 8 pm. a function was organized at Thippilassery, the adopted village of Arogya Mythri Project of IMA Kunnamkulam as part of the vector control programme by IMA Kunnamkulam and the Charity Wing of IMA Kunnamkulam. The function was inaugurated by Dr. Koshy George T., President of IMA Kunnamkulam. Dr. P.K. Saju, Secretary of IMA Kunnamkulam welcomed the audience.
After the official inauguration, a HEALTH EDUCATION CLASS was taken by Dr.Nileena Koshy, Professor of Community Medicine, Government Medical College, Thrissur and Past Chairperson and Senior Member of WIMA, Kunnamkulam on the Practical Methods of Vector Control in the Village Setting.
Dr. P.A. Mohamed Nisar, Chairman, Charity Wing of IMA Kunnamkulam explained the objectives of the vector control programme of IMA Kunnamkulam. DISTRIBUTION OF MOSQUITO COILS to the inmates of the village as a part of the VECTOR CONTROL PROGRAMME of IMA Kunnamkulam was done by Dr. Koshy George T., President of IMA Kunnamkulam. Mr. Premadasan, Village Representative proposed the vote of thanks.
14th June :IMA KUNNAMKULAM PROGRAM FOR THE DIFFERENTLY ABLED – MEDICAL CAMP FOR DEAF AND DUMB CONDUCTED BY IMA KUNNAMKULAM AT UNITY HOSPITAL, KANIPPAYYUR .
The camp was organised in association with Welfare Party of India, Kunnamkulam branch and SKDP, the association of the Deaf and Dumb. The camp was formally inaugurated by Dr.Koshy George T, the President of IMA Kunnamkulam. The presidential address was translated into sign language by Mr.Badarudheen, the president of Welfare Party of India, Kunnamkulam branch. In his presidential address Dr Koshy George thanked the Welfare Party for giving IMA Kunnamkulam a chance to serve the people who are lateralised and often neglected in the society. He also thanked Unity Hospital for providing the venue for the camp.
Dr.Baiju Ashraf, Physician, Ansar Hospital and Dr.Joshy Thomas, Physician, Unity Hospital examined the patients . Patients conveyed their complaints using sign language and by writing down on a paper. It was a painful experience for the doctors to see the apparently healthy looking people finding it difficult to express their feelings and sufferings.
Free blood sugar check up was done and medicines were dispensed free of cost. At the end of the camp we felt gratified for the work we had done and all those differently abled people were very thankful to us. They even wanted to take selfies with the IMA president. Finally they invited us to take a group photo. We could do all these activities only through IMA and we felt proud to be members of this noble association. Dr.Saju.P.K, Secretary IMA Kunnamkulam, Dr.Varghese Paul and Dr. Asok Varma, Past presidents of IMA Kunnamkulam and Dr.Varghese Job, Auditor of IMA Kunnamkulam participated in the camp and helped in the organisation of the function.
15th June : IMA Kunnamkulam Program for Elderly Care – Special Report on the observation of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day ( WEAAD ) at Deenabandhu Old Age Home, Akkikavu .
We observed WEAAD by visiting Deenabandhu Old Age Home at Akkikavu. The program started with a formal inaugural function, at the prayer hall of the old age home, which was presided over by Dr.Koshy George T, the President of IMA Kunnamkulam. The meeting was inaugurated by the past president of IMA KSB, Dr.K.V.Devadas who congratulated IMA Kunnamkulam on this noble venture. Felicitations were offered by Dr.T.R.Louis, the senior most male doctor of Kunnamkulam and Dr.Paul C Raphel, Past president of IMA Kunnamkulam. Deenabanhu director Fr.Raju P George expressed vote of thanks and he requested IMA Kunnamkulam, to continue such home visits so that those bedridden patients can avail of these services.
A token donation from IMA Kunnamkulam was handed over to the director of Deenabandhu old age home by Dr. T R Louis. And as a token of appreciation of the sincere work done by the Fr. Raju P Geroge , a memento was presented to him on behalf of IMA Kunnamkulam by Dr Paul C Raphael. After the inaugural function , a medical checkup was arranged for the inmates . Dr Mohammed Nissar , Dr T R Louis , Dr Koshy George T and Dr Saju P K examined the inmates . Bed ridden patients were examined at the bedside . Free Blood Sugar estimation was also done .
17th June :Arogyamythri 6th interventional program, Arogyajalakom school improvement program and Literary Club Reading Enhancement Program held at Emmanuel LP School, Chittanjoor the adopted school of IMA Kunnamkulam .
On 17.6.15 , a function comprising three programs was conducted at our adopted school, Emmanuel LP School, Chittanjoor at 2.30 pm.
The function started with a welcome speech by the headmistress Mrs.Sony Teacher. Then Dr.Koshy George T, the president of IMA Kunnamkulam inaugurated the program. The President the conducted the inauguration of the three programs of the day:
- Arogyamythri Health Check up Camp and Issuing of Health card.
The President explained the layout of the health card to the parents and asked them to preserve it carefully and send it for all further check ups arranged by the IMA. He conducted the inauguration of the Health Card by handing over the cards to Dr. K. Rajagopalan, Paediatrician.
- Literary club initiative : Contribution of one year subscription of Mathrubumi Daily.
The President said that overall development involves a thorough knowledge of what is happening in the world around so that the children will develop into responsible citizens of the nation. It is with this intention that the IMA has decided to donate one year’s subscription of Mathrubhumi daily to the school. He congratulated the Literery Club of IMA Kunnamkulam for taking up this responsibility. Dr. Koshy told the students that it was their responsibility to see to it that their teachers read at least one item from the news paper to them every day. The formal inauguration of the literary club initiative was done by handing over the first copy of Mathrubhumi daily to the school headboy.
- Arogyajalakam initiative:- Involving the Ward Member
The President congratulated the Arogyajalakam committee of IMA Kunnamkulam for having involved the local authorities to ensure the development of the school and for obtaining better hygienic conditions for the children. He invited the Ward Member Mrs.Geetha Sasi to address the children and parents. Mrs. Geetha Sasi pointed out the improvements in the school after IMA has adopted it.
Mrs. Jancy, the PTA president offered felicitations. Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr.Saju.P.K, Secretary of IMA Kunnamkulam.
All the students of the school were examined by Dr.Saju.P.K, Paediatrician, Ansar Hospital,Perumpilav and Dr.Rajagopal, Paediatrician ,Royal Hospital ,Kunnamkulam. Health parameters were recorded in Arogyamythri Health cards which were issued to all the students of the school.
21st June : Health Awareness and Checkup Programme conducted by IMA Kunnamkulam for the youth of Punnayurkulam on at Shanthi Hospital, Punnayurkulam in association with Saparya Grameena Vayanasala and Shanthi Hospital, Punnayurkulam organised by the Act force, IMA AMS and Arogya Jalakam Commitee of IMA Kunnamkulam.
On 21.6.15 , IMA Kunnamkulam conducted a Health Awareness and Check up Program in association with SAPARYA Grameena Vayanasala , Punnayurkulam and Santhi Hospital, Punnayurkulam. The Program was held at Shanthi Hospital, Punnayurkulam at 10 am on Sunday, 21.06.2015. The program started with an inaugural session. Mr.Shanoj, the secretary of the Saparya Grameena Vayanasala welcomed the audience. The formal inauguration was done by Dr.Koshy George .T, the president of IMA Kunnamkulam. In his inaugural address he thanked the local club SAPARYA and Shanthi hospital, for the timely intervention of making the people aware of communicable diseases during the Monsoon time. The inaugural session was followed by the various programmes organised by the different committees of IMA Kunnamkulam:
- Health education class by IMA AMS
Dr.Rajesh Krishnan , the convenor of IMA AMS ,Kunnamkulam branch, took a Health Education Class on Monsoon diseases. He stressed the importance of personal cleanliness , safe drinking water and food hygiene in the prevention of communicable diseases.
- First aid class by ACT FORCE– LIFE SUPPORT AND TRAINING COMMITTEE
A FIRST AID CLASS was taken by Dr Koshy George T, who demonstrated various techniques of giving first aid in case of accidents at home, school, workplaces etc. , in a simple manner using commonly available materials like newspaper, cardboard boxes, and cotton clothes.
- BLS Workshop by ACT FORCE – LIFE SUPPORT AND TRAINING COMMITTEE
A practical workshop on Basic Life Support was taken by Dr Ajith. T , Anaesthesiologist of Malankara Mission Hospital , Kunnamkulam . Cardio Pulmonary resuscitation was demonstrated on a mannequin. Hands on session for selected volunteers added to the enthusiasm of the participant
4.Arogya jalakam : Leaflet on Monsoon Diseases prepared by Health Inspector .
The Arogya Jalakam Committee of IMA Kunnamkulam distributed the leaflets on Monsoon Diseases which were prepared for the programme by Mr. Pradeep, Health Inspector, Andathod PHC. The Health Inspector has agreed to cooperate with the Saparya Club to initiate preventive measures in the residential areas of Punnayurkulam.
Dr.Shaji.P.S , the Chaiman of IMA AMS ,Kunnamkulam Branch, Dr. Sreekala V.M and Dr.K.R.Mukesh participated in the Question and Answer session following the Health Education Sessions.
- Cholesterol Detection and Blood Sugar Detection Camp by IMA AMS
Cholesterol detection and Blood sugar detection were also done free of cost .
- Custom made Diet Sheets by Dietician organised by IMA AMS
For those patients who were found to have abnormal values a diet sheet was prepared according to their usual food pattern at home by the dietician under the supervision of Dr. Shaji P.S. and Dr. Rajesh Krishnan. Dr.Saju.P.K, the secretary of IMA Kunnamkulam proposed vote of thanks.
21st June : WIMA Coordinator and CEAD Women’s Wing President Mrs. Mini Paul distributed saplings to the Ayalkoottam ladies of Aduppootty colony as part of the Haritha Project of WIMA.
21st June : Dr. Ninan Koothoor and Dr. K.V. Devadas attended the Planning Meeting for Inauguration of Patient Care Fund of IMA held at Hotel Hyson, Kozhikode.
23rd June :The monthly CME of IMA Kunnamkulam was conducted at IMA House, Kanippayyur at 8 pm. Dr.Saji Sebastian , Gastroenterologist GMC Trichur, talk on the subject “Dos and Don’ts in Acute Hepatitis”. It was an interesting talk and there was active interaction following the talk.
Then IMA AMS X ray quiz was presented by Dr.Tomy. It was a case of Hiatus Hernia. The prize was won by Dr.Valsala Kaimal.

25th June ;Health education class and Staff Training program organised by IMA AMS Kunnamkulam Chapter at Ansar Hospital, Perumpilav as the fourth program of the Monsoon Diseases Awareness Project of IMA Kunnamkulam.
On 25.6.2015, a Monsoon Diseases Awareness Programme including a health education class and a staff training program was organised by IMA AMS Kunnamkulam Chapter at Ansar Hospital,Perumpilav. The program started with a welcome address by the Director of the hospital, Dr.Nisar. The program was formally inaugurated by Dr.Koshy George.T, the President of IMA Kunnamkulam. The inaugural session was followed by two programs.
- A Health Education class on Monsoon ailments was taken by Dr.Tomy.C.P, physician, Ansar Hospital. He mentioned about various Monsoon ailments including Dengue fever and Leptospirosis as well as the common spectrum of monsoon diseases which may become epidemic during this season. This session was attended by the general public as well as staff.
- A training program for staff including the nursing staff, sweepers, ambulance staff and attenders of the hospital. Dr. C. P. Tomy and Dr. Saju P.K. led the training program. Dr.Tomy detailed about the modes of communication of various communicable diseases and precautions to be taken while handling such patients in the wards or casualty.
Vote of thanks was proposed Dr.Saju.P.K, the secretary of IMA Kunnamkulam.Since all the staff could not attend the program, a second session of the program is scheduled to be conducted during the next week.
25th June : Collection of contributions towards the IMA Patient Care Fund was started by IMA Kunnamkulam and WIMA Kunnamkulam.
26th June : Observation of international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking at IMA Kunnamkulam – Program conducted by IMA Kunnamkulam ( organised by IMA CGP Kunnamkulam Chapter ) at Ansar School, Perumpilav including short films, poster competition, health education class and pledge taking.
On 26.6.15 , international day against drug abuse was observed by IMA Kunnamkulam during a function organised by IMA CGP Kunnamkulam Chapter at Ansar English Medium School, Perumpilavu. The program started with a prayer song, by the students followed by a welcome speech by the school captain Ahmed Mohammed Rafi. The meeting was presided over by the head master Mr.Chandran. He welcomed the gathering of doctors, psychologists, plus one and plus two students and the staff of the school. The program was formally inaugurated by Dr.Koshy George T, the President of IMA Kunnamkulam. In his inaugural address, he stressed the point that , a major number of drug abusers are below the age of 18 and there is an increasing suicidal tendency among drug abusers. Then Prof.E.Mohamed, the Director of Ansar school of special education delivered the keynote address. Felicitations were offered by Mr.Anil Kumar, psychologist of Ansar Hospital Perumpilav and Dr.Ninan Koothoor, the Activity Co-ordinator of IMA CGP Kunnamkulam Chapter.
The inaugural function was followed by the following programs:
1.Film show.
Short films in English and Malayalam against drug abuse were shown to the students.
- Poster designing competition.
A poster designing competition for High School students was organised by IMA Kunnamkulam and the posters were displayed in the auditorium. The creativity and imagination of the students were evident in the variety and content of the posters they created.
A team of judges including Dr. Koshy George, Dr.Ninan Koothoor, Prof.E.Mohamed and Mr.Anil Kumar judged the posters designed by the students, depicting the ill-effects of drug abuse. There were 41 entries.
- Health Education Class.
A health education class was taken by Dr. Koshy George T, on the Harmful Effects of Drugs, Causes for drug addiction, effects of drug addiction and methods of prevention and intervention were dealt with.
- Pledge taking.
The pledge against the usage of intoxicants was recited by Dr.Koshy George and it was repeated by the students.
- Prize distribution.
The best 3 posters were awarded with special prizes by the IMA. The prizes were given away by Dr.Ninan Koothoor, Mr.Anil Kumar and Dr.Saju.P.K.
27th June : A Health Education Class was taken by Dr. Rini Ravindran, Asst. Professor, GMC, Thrissur and Convenor, WIMA at the Good Shepherd Convent Hall, Chowannur for the Aduppootty labourer colony ladies on Monsoon Diseases and a Clear Your Doubts Program on Drug Abuse in Children was also conducted after the class. WIMA Coordinator Mrs. Mini Paul and Senior Vice President of IMA Dr. Paul C. Raphel spoke on the occasion. Distribution of Mosquito vapourisers to all Aduppootty colony families was done as a part of the vector control programme of IMA Kunnamkulam.

The monthly free medical camp was conducted IMA Hall. Dr.Mohamed Nissar P.A and Dr.Manikandan examined the patients and free medicines were dispensed.56 patients attended the camp. Free blood sugar check up was also done.
30th June : Contributions towards first day donation for IMA Patient Care Fund announced. IMA Kunnamkulam collected Rs. 115125/- and WIMA Kunnamkulam collected RS. 50000/- to be handed over on Doctors’ Day.
