i WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU ALL FOR ATTENDING THE NEW YEAR GET-TOGETHER IN LARGE NUMBERS AND MAKING IT A GRAND SUCCESS. MY SINCERE GRATITUDE TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMME. IT WAS A GREAT EFFORT AND A GOOD SHOW !

It has been noted in previous family meetings that many members leave the hall during the entertainment programme leaving the hall partially empty during the latter part of the performance. This did not happen yesterday and I am extremely thankful to each and every one of you for encouraging the members who took part in the programme. More than a high quality entertainment programme, we intended wholehearted participation from our members and that was there both on stage and in the audience.

The table arrangement in the hall was to make the atmosphere conducive to the above mentioned plan. However serving in a congested hall arrangement was a problem we anticipated. That is why we ordered food packets with some extra food kept for larger numbers. However, there was a miscalculation regarding the larger numbers and we faced a shortage of plates which was rectified but it caused some delay. Moreover, the decision to have food packets caused the food to become cold. I own the entire resposibility for these decisions and I would like to apologise to each and every one of you for any inconvenience caused. If I took any stand which you did not appreciate, I assure you that I earnestly did it only for our programme to be a success. This is our first family meeting this year. I will learn from my mistakes and I will try to make future programmes more successful. Kindly do forgive me.
