The Indian Medical Association (IMA), the national organization of “Doctors of Modern Scientific System of Medicine”, was organized in 1928, and currently IMA has around 100,000 members belonging to different branches of medical profession and function through a network of more than 1700 local branches, located in different part of India.Indian Medical Association is the only representative voluntary organization of Doctors of Modern Scientific System of Medicine, which looks after the interest of doctors as well as the well being of the community at large.
