On 11th and 12thNovember our 15 members attended the state annual conference at Kodungallur. Our branch got total 10 awards, including the merit certificate for the third best branch, third best branch of WIMA, Chairman’s appreciation award for AMS, Health Scheme award for Dr. NinanKoothoor, Health Scheme award for maximum membership, Maximum membership awards for PP Scheme and SS1 and SS 2, President’s Appreciation Awards for Dr. P.K. Saju for Arogyamuthri and DTF as well as Dr.Geetha Devi for SS III.
On 14/11/17 World diabetes day was observed at SHRC Kunnamkulam.PresidentDr. Rajesh P. and Secretary Dr.Suresh Kumar attended the meeting.Dr.SuvarnaNalappat was the Chief Guest. Dr.Shameer C. Sulaiman conducted an awareness class on Diabetes for the Public. There was a program on diabetic diet.
The 2nd general body and CME was conducted at IMA house Kunnamkulam on 21/11/17. Dr. Bino Benjamin Cardiologist, Jubilee Medical College presented the topic on Statins in an excellent manner.
48 members attended the meeting. Following the CME, there was a reception accorded to the award winners of 2016-17. Dr. Koshy George T., Past President conducted the function. President appreciated the award winners.Mementos werepresented by the branch to all the award winners.
On 26/11/17 Monthly medical camp was conducted at IMA hall.55 patients attended the camp.Dr.Shaji P S and Dr Mukesh K.R conducted the camp.
